As the Nigerian Navy Recruitment begins we have volunteered to bring all information you need right at your door step

Most Nigerians will prefer joining the Nigerian Navy rather than joining the Nigerian Army because they feel they are more secure in the Navy over the army hence their preference.

I was speaking to a friend sometime ago and he said he would rather join the Nigerian Navy because the navy does not get posted to fight the Boko Haram terrorist fighters in the North East of Nigeria.

Let me not digress from the main purpose of putting down this article, let’s go straight to the topic at hand

Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2018/2019

The Nigeria Navy is the unit of the arm forces. The Nigerian Navy is among the largest Navies on the African continent, consisting of several thousand personnel, including those of the Coast Guard.

The Nigeria Navy do carry out an annual recruitment exercise where her doors is open to eligible Nigerians for enlistment into the body.

Nigerian Navy Recruitment requirement

To join the Nigerian Navy there are certain criteria one must meet and they are as follows:

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian citizen
  • you should possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for first degree holders and Upper Credit for HND holders.
  • Applicants should be between 22 and 28 years by 2018, except for Imams and Chaplains who should not exceed 30 years by 2018 .
  • Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres in height.

What can disqualify you from joining the Nigerian Navy :

There are certain features an applicant will have and they will be rejected from the screening exercise that will be conducted at a specific time they are as follows :

  • short sight;
  • ear problem;
  • flat foot;
  • fracture;
  • stammering;
  • less than required height( 1.70 for male and 1.67 for female)
  • any natural disability.

Nigerian Navy Recruitment:Documents needed

This are the list of documents that will be demanded from applicant at the screening level

  • fitness test
  • certificate/credentials screening,
  • medical screening

The only authorized place to get the Nigerian Navy form is located at Nigeria Navy official portal and the form can be downloaded at http://www.joinnigeriannavy.com, please note that all forms are to be filled and submitted online

Nigerian Navy Recruitment list of successful candidates

At the end of the recruitment exercise a list containing the names of candidates that have been successfully enlisted are usually released, this list can be accessed at the Nigerian Navy official portal.

How can i apply? .

If you meet the above requirement simply log onto Logon to www.nigerianarmyms.org or www.nigerianarmyms.ng.

You will have to purchase a one time pin code

Note that all application are to be done online and make sure you fill in your data accordingly, at the end make sure you print your photo card because you must present it as evidence of your registration.
